Turns out all the aero scallops are shaped with filler that is almost like regular household polyfiller? not like car body filler or metal putty.
So it's chipping and flaking easily from the stripping process....so i'm gonna cover all the scallops with liquid metal and maybe reshape and add a couple more scallops here and there with metal putty and liquid metal....then sand back down to a nice smooth finish prior to priming.
Gonna take a long time to get it totally smoothed out and shaped just right but it'll be worth it.
