The Frame is an old Raleigh number I believe.
Bought it stripped to it's skin, so can't be sure. Got it powder coated black. Not a scratch on her.
Price lowered.

Because it's a nice frame with a decent tubeset. Whereas yours is, for all we know, gas pipe tubing of unknown provenance.

Frame/fork: Cougar, Columbus SLX (new) custom built for previous owner, 23 1/4" c/t seat tube and 22.5" c/c top tube. Chrome bits: right chainstay, dropouts f/r. and front mech hanger. Internal cable routing on top tube. Paint has been retouched in places.
Wheels: brand new rear 32h Goldtec hub with brand new SKF bearings, CXP30 rim in vgc, butted spokes. Newly built - true. Brand new Miche 17t cog/holder.
Front: 70's Shimano high flange hub/ Rigida semi aero rim in vgc. 36h. Newly built/true. Tyres are Vredestein Ricorsa, nearly new, done about 15 miles.
Seatpost: Planet X micro adjust,
Saddle: new DDG Strad Kevlar - very light.
BB: brand new UN54
Crankset: A bit of a mix - right side is Campag G.S. Strada 170 with 52t 144bcd Specialized ring, left side is a Stronglight 170, (I looked for ages for a left Campag).
Headset: Stronglight A9 aluminum - I have cleaned/regreased it and its running smooth (gets a bit notchy if overtightened).
Bars: Vintage SR Japan 'World Champion' with quite a deep drop.
Stem: 3ttt 110mm (NOTE: bars can be swapped for flipped/chopped ones in other pic if preferred)
Lever: Brand new Diatec Dirt Harry/ unbranded dual caliper brake/ new Diacomp blocks. -

i do agree that this is overpriced but i think if someone is trying to make some money on a bike then let them try. Yeh it might not be worth it, but is a Bianchi Pista worth £550, everyone is having a go. It's worth 250 more than this though.
