Sounds like great fun, I would love to have a go at something like that.
Take it easy on the bends apparently the old 'Six day event' riders used to get pressure sores because of the G forces pushing them in to the saddle at the track corners.
Good luck
Hi- If anyone is kind enough to donate hard earned money to the Children In Need Charity I'd be very grateful- even 25 or 50p is good in my book- and NO I don't expect, I'm just asking nicely, if its a no, its a no, and I respect that- thank you which ever way you go. http://www.justgiving.com/tmpudsey24hr
the details of the event are on: http://www.tmracing.org.uk/tmpudsey24hr/ and there'll be updates on progress.
I'm riding in the Red Kite team in the 24 hrs and 480mile target in teams of riders (mine's got three riders so far, so I'm thinking this is going to be hard work - an hour's riding every three hours at 20+mph).
Yes, its completely mad in every way, but it just has to be done!
I've read the script but not sure how this will turn out.
(I'm aiming to ride the Craignasty supplied Planet X machine straight out of the box, but will have my usual machines to hand if I'm in any doubt).
Cheers,
Keith E
