Dude, see a solicitor and they'll deal with it properly for you and you wont have the stress and bother, which is the last thing you need after a smash like that. Some unions have arrangements with solicitors, which you can take advantage of if you're a member. If the scooter-twat's insurance premiums go up they may be more likely to open their eyes in future.
