I've claimed through Hiscox for almost £2k when I had an accident and smashed up a road bike. They accepted the claim on the phone (within 5 minutes) and I had the money in my bank 3 days later. I had only been with Hiscox for a few months at that point, though I've now been with them for close to 5 years.
