@ eyebrows....yes they charged me for it. £33 including postage.
@dogs....yes i did, just the rear. i'm still getting all the bits though. having trouble finding 270mm black spokes and nipples.

hard to source black nipples and black spokes. a few people i've recommended have got from them. otherwise BLB, cavendish or condor, but expect big £££'s

so 270mm is def ok for large flage onto h+son rims, with snowflake lacing?
i cant get my head round the twisting, it seems they should be much longer to allow for the twist, but you're the pro, and i'm but a hipster slave, so i'll take your word for it.
i think i'll wait for a bit, and see if starbikes sort their shit out.

268mm for 3 cross, then add a couple mm's for twist
