mental, i think after re-assessing it truly is an un-necessary purchase, will maybe build some int he future when i am rich and retired
really interested in the concept but thinking about it i could probably get some full carbon clincher rims (low profile) for less and with much much greater performance and less of the stress
will stick to my 1.1's for the moment!
and thanks smallfurry, i am pleased with it, moustache bars arent very aesthetically pleasing but nothing climbs as well as these puppies! bike almost entirely finished
oh and SSSasky, showbikes arent for me, this green bike is intended for long long sunday rides when the weather is good up here in the yorkshire dales
my daily beater is a silly HHSB bike -

Sorry to bring this old one back.....
I've just got myself a '50 light blue holdsworth undrilled tornado track frame.
I want to take my time with this one........Really want some wooden rims.
Does anyone know where I can source 27" wooden sprinters?
Seems to be impossible...

Alex
well, yes and no. it just becomes even more important on a rim that is designed to have some give.
