Assuming its not pissing down with rain, is it ok if I bring along a mate, and my camera with a little bit of portable lighting ? Its nothing big and clunky just one flash and a convertible umbrella, plus pocketwizards to trigger it. Could be a laugh and we could get some fun off the cuff portraits and shots etc ?

the general thinking is that it's okay as long as you don't take pictures of people who don't want to be photographed.

there might be some other cameras there too..

There's a couple of guys who shoot with similar set ups every week. I think you just need to make sure that it's not clashing with what they're doing and that it's not for publication without the subject's consent.

that rooftop is so much better for skidding in the rain though and much more forgiving on the tires.

my knee is fucked in some way and it's depressing the shit out of me. Two months to be seen by consultant.

Right now I'm trying to rest it so I can cycle tomorrow if at all possible. I don't think I will be there tonight.
