WARNING
Hip hop slave bike coming through.
Before:
After:
Plenty of puppies killed and the Arrospok cost me many dorrah. I have all the parts ready, just it's my first build and I want to take my time. I also need the rear wheel spaced to 126mm and I need a good lock ring for the gear. Any suggestions?
Oh and I have the replacement decals and I know my brake is pointing to heaven.

Why did you leave the derailer hanger on?

do you live in a submarine?

tasty 1st build, well done mate... so far!

I like riding on the hoods - hence two levers
the idea behind the build was functionality, performance and durability
there are enough others making pure porn
the bike has exceeded my expectations and am hoping there is not much more I can do to it now.
nice saddle - what is it?

Alright I'm just being really stupid and showing off now;
that's the last one, I swear!Ed, i reckon the drops look amazing! Your bike is a carbon copy of my cousins. Stripped pista, black h+, bullhorns... looks great.
How do you find those drop bullhorns though? I have them on my bike and when pulling away on the horns they are really good, but i find they make my wrists sore when im riding on the angled part of the bar. I cant really hold on teh horizontal part due to brakes etc. I think i need something more practical. Hero factor is important though...

+1, but then i do despise bullhorns... think they are ugly and inelegant. Sweet bike though!!

Chrome drops, don't want to tarnish them.
do you live in a submarine?
Old fish tanks, turned off now because whatever we put in there died.
36h rear wheel????
Many spoks rear, arrospoks front.

Nice paint job, where did you get it sprayed ?
What is the rear spacing of the frame at the moment ?

(sorta ;)What the **** happened to the paint? Worst alignment, etc ever! Aren't you pissed at them for making your bike look like a tin of quality street?

My brother works for a car bodyshop so I got him to do it for me. Nice free job. He also flattened out the imperfections on the Arrospok because it was originally painted black and I think they have local blind people spray their rims.
The rear spacing is 126mm.

Ahhh I see, sorry. I wasn't so confident in taking the front derailleur off. I didn't want to make a mess of it by cutting in the frame.

I love how the drop looks more than the bullhorn drop, a bit of a shame but meh.
the drop bullhorn isn´t really practical at first especially the horizontal part being quite narrow as you´ve mentioned but I got over that after getting used to it. Usually I go brakeless but I want to keep a brake on for insurance/law purpose (i.e. if a taxi hit me and it´s his fault, the police can easily throw the book at me for not having at least 2 working brakes).
I normally ride holding the horn part all day, but it´s a bit too far away due to the long stem (thought it is a beautiful Nitto stem), it´s pretty much feel the same as being on the hood, I just need to get a shorter black Thompson stem and it should be perfect.
the bar is pointed more upward because the Nitto stem is 25.4, and the bar is 26, a bit of a bastard to put on but can´t tip it down more horizontally.

fuck it, I´ll go home and put on the blue Nitto drop just for shit and giggle.

Ed, Which shop did you get the bulhorns from.
-
• #2222
so do you think that front rim will wear down? and what is it on the rear?
i want one... it looks beautiful
-
• #2223
Well... I went for it with the duct tape. Shouldn't struggle to find it in a crowd anyway.
Anyone know anywhere that sells rat decals?
