Donate your old and unwanted bikes and tools

Although, not right this second as I have nowhere to store them.

The gist though is this:

• I live on a dodgy council estate
  
• Some people on the estate were organising to rescue abandoned bikes and repair them
  
• Others were fundraising to buy cheap bikes
  
• All of these bikes were to be given to teenagers on the estate or housewives and those needing independent mobility
  
• Lessons were to be given
  
• A bike workshop was to be opened up
  
  

Notice the past tense? Just after they announced on the estate that they'd got together 20 bikes (mostly second hand tat) for use, they were broken into and all of the bikes stolen.

So now they're knocking door to door in an attempt to start all over again. What they need are tools and bikes.

Right now they need to re-secure their storage area, but once that has been done donations would be really appreciated.

So if there's anything you have that was going to be thrown out, if you have spare parts, old chains, brakes and cables, spare tools (now that you've got those rainbow coloured allen keys), old hybrid bikes you're embarrassed to be seen on... donate them all to my estate! Go on, there are people here who really want to get something going, so if you've got stuff to get rid off, this is how... I'll let you know the when as soon as I'm told they've sorted their storage.
