Just highlights how little the Police care about bicycle theft..
If they had the inclination they could have quite easily gotten your bike back for you.. They could have contacted the guy acting as if they wanted to buy it, arranged a meet, arrested him on suspicion on theft, called in your witness and probably charged him..
Surely they could even let him go and just take the bike that is so obviously yours?
