Back to the original post- would this make a great first fixie if I ground off all the gear/brake mountings, went brakeless at once, and got rid of the horrid -not to say gay- gears?
-
• #16
only if you whacked on a micro adjust seatpost and fizik saddle.

• #17
Definitely needs cut down risers or dildo bar.
Ooh ooh - pursuit bars.

Ohhh. fixing this would be the equivalent firebombing Battersea dogs just after they'd taken delivery of 101 dalmatians.

pj - they are clamouring to speak to you about this over on the dark side....
I'm selling my amazing colnago super from 1979. it has full nuovo record groupset, 6 speed close ratio rear casette, campag record hubs laced to gp4 sprints, cinelli bars and stem, campag aero seatpost, san marco corsa saddle, chrome lugs, chrome front fork.
it's a thing of beauty in a 57cm. there are some scratches to the paintwork, and some touchups here and there, some slight pitting on the chromework. original except seatpost which i swapped out because the other one was shit.

and yes, i have switched the gear levers around and trimmed the brake cables and moved the rear cable housing around the outside of the rear triangle. and no, i haven't had it long. and yes, it's a bit small and i don't ride it enough.
£600.
