In the discussion of something so historical, irony, along with whimsy, was confined to the cupboards downstairs.......so that others could discuss, with understanding and appreciation, the monumental event that has just occured.

Trivial spat-creation, on a day like this, is deeply silly.

Crippen, don't you apprectiate that you, along with the rest of us, have just witnessed an event as great, or greater, than man's first forays into space?

But if your own brand of humour is the only thing that matters to you today, and foisting it upon others, then please, be our guest.
