  • Just bought a Ha'Bo disc wheel, it's a Tub, just wondering if anyones ever heard of them as I've not heard of them before, seems to be fairly decent though, 700c Carbon Disc Wheel

    What you thinks??

  • i thinks im jealous

  • 140euro thinks you're more jealous :D

  • gahhh, i need a job

  • Then get one Xmas jobs are flying around everywhere,
    and HTFU

  • you see what i meant was, i want money... free money.

  • Dont you get EMA?
The only reason why 40% of sixth formers attend college

  • only reason i did...

  • only reason i did...

    Really?

  • Not sure about the wheel, but the frame looks quite nice (yellow is such a good colour). What is it?

  • Really?

yup i want to do fashion photography when im older so i stayed at college and uni for ema, some fun and hopefully a qualification that means fuck all in the industry in a couple years.

  • ema seems a popular girl

  • The frame's some completely random frame, not sure what it is but it's really nice, it's for sale at the moment, not mine http://www.gumtree.ie/dublin/38/30168338.html

German guy living in Dublin is selling it, I think it's on e-bay too

  • I think it's an ugly wheel pal.

  • I think it's an ugly wheel pal.

Fair enough, but at the end of the day I paid €40 for a carbon disc wheel... can't complain at that, I'm respraying it baby blue with red polka dots anyway :D

  • There'll be no skidding on that baby.

  • There'll be no skidding on that baby.

This is a problem I'm trying to ignore...how bad would it be do we reckon...are we talking full on tyre popping off or just a bad idea...I don't really skid so much as just control my speed as much as possible...obviously I skid when I need to stop in an emergency but normally I just slow it down...am I going to die in a flurry of carbon and tubular tyre??

  • If you do can i have the wheel,
and/or the rest of your bike?

  • yes. sorry..
and tubs are a pain to replace on the fly.

You were massively done for that! 40 Euros??? ;)

What do they perform like anyway?

  • How come it was so cheap?

  • Sorry, typing fail €140, still pretty cheap though and the tyre on it is in good nick, haven't been able to get it on yet, the only thing wrong with it is some damage to the thread on the axle which is simple to replace anyway, have a spare knocking around, can't wait to get it on though, I'm just going to ride it until the tyre dies and I've got some new stickers made for it 'cause I quite like the logo, then I'll repaint it.

Tubs being a pain in the ass seems to be true though, haven't owned any tubs before but hey, may aswell learn sometime, I tend to cycle in a small enough area anyway so if I do have a puncture I'm not going to be miles away and I'll just use my Campy's front and back for long spins anyway...besides...it looks cool :D
