I always find getting chainring bolts tight enough extremely difficult and removing them near impossible, even when I use new steel ones they promptly get wrecked.
**Those tools to hold the back of the chainring bolts are crap & dont work for me.
**
I was wondering if theres something 'better' that exists?
I found this on 'bluequinn's blog.
apparantly fashioned by tommy simpsons mechanic, the countersunk serratted edge means you only need an allen key for installation & removal.
Is anything like this more commonly available?
Must be a case of a bad workman blaming his tools since they seem to work for everyone else I know.
