  • I always find getting chainring bolts tight enough extremely difficult and removing them near impossible, even when I use new steel ones they promptly get wrecked.

    I found this on 'bluequinn's blog.

    apparantly fashioned by tommy simpsons mechanic, the countersunk serratted edge means you only need an allen key for installation & removal.

    Is anything like this more commonly available?

    Must be a case of a bad workman blaming his tools since they seem to work for everyone else I know.
