in real life dogsballs runs a missionary in shoreditch, taking in poor disillusioned hipsters and teaching them the error of their ways. He's merely trying to avoid the additional bed he'll have to find for a poor traumatised victim of the radialrear.

If I'm a douche, the you're a turd sandwich.
Can't believe I got neg reppend for this! Does nobody watch south park? 'Cunt' is ok, but 'turd sandwich' is just taking things too far!?!? :-)

To be fair I bought this for £230 off someone here. Granted it needed a new rear hub and I had a new deep v up front but that was only £90 for that to be done...meaning £320. Price does seem steep.

Ok call it 375.
I must emphasise though it is IMMACULATE, perfecto, peachy, very very good.

Firstly its £415 not £450 and secondly I'd rather have built it with a flip flop so that it has the ability to be changed later on if one should so wish. It isn't affected as it is but has options later on if the owner should change there mind.
I even found a dt spoke which I used on the radial side of the rear wheel which has a long enough thread to be used radially or normally.
Don't you mean effected?
Ffs stop picking holes in others peoples business and get a life! Have you nothing better to do?
jeezus!
It DOESN'T have a freewheel on it so there's nowt to flip it over to ok!
If anyone on here should want to buy it then if you want I will have the rear wheel re spoked normally if you want. As it is it looks great and being a FIXED forum I would imagine most would be happy as it is as a FIXED bike.
Ok dogswang? Happy with that?
Oh and to the others, good ideas ref splitting it however I don't have the old wheels now otherwise that would be a fine idea. I think I could locate a set cheap so if it comes with it I'll go the ebay route as a last resort. Thank you for your input :-)
And it's called London Fixed Gear Single Speed, it's not a fixed forum. The most vocal members tend to ride fixed, but a lot of them have single speeds as well. I for one have two SS MTBs.

oh gonna have to look away, those pink wheels are making me feel icky. What was wrong with the original set up?
-

guys chill out! he's trying to sell his bike! you don't have to rip the aesthetics apart, lots of you ride much more offensive bikes... someone will want it even if you don't.

good pricing, reasonable but not too expensive.
(I have to ask, and this isn´t a nag, how come you didn´t change the awful tyres when you got the new wheels?).
-

And what might I ask is wrong with pink rims. . . .
When someone called "mudchute" has some "pink rims" it might have certain connotations.

Are they crap? Tbh I've little experience of road riding so just went with them. I've heard they're heavy to ride on, is that the problem?

they are crap, they´re not exactly the fastest tyres really, it´s actually recommended that the first thing you should do is to change it for some decent tyres such as the Continental Gatorskin for instance, you´d have notice the difference, even with the lack of experience.

Bit of a hi-jack but does anyone know what the skinniest tyre you can get on the original pulg wheelset? The rims seem a little on the wide side!

I had some 700x25 rubinos on mine. Tried a 23 but it just didn't happen, so I built new wheels from a mix of new/spare parts.

ps don't worry bout the hijack, nobody's going to buy that thing anyway :)

Cheers BlowieB, my mates looking to buy a wheelset off someone. I'll let him know what the dealio is.
As for the bike, who radials one side of a flip flop hub???

Gents, can I echo the calming words earlier in the thread? We have an often illogical attachment to our bikes. The guy is trying to sell, and we don't know why. Maybe give the benefit of the doubt, and be willing to suffer colourways, and set ups that are not quite to our individual taste? If it is not plain dangerous, surely we should go easy on one of our own?
