  • Although surely the issue is that they shouldn't have to?

Yeah, when it's been laquered over etc, ruining the paint underneath too.

Do they give you other stimuli where you're staying, or is it just internet? You've totally missed Doug's point. His beef is with the service - or lack of - that he received. You stupid, spastic clunge.

  • You stupid, [st]spastic[/st] scoper clunge.

Your slightly dubious choice of insults needed upgrading to the latest vernacular.

  • Douglas what size frame is that?

    I like it.

    Thanks Ved. It's 23"

  • spit or swallow, but get over it.

  • Better swallow than thrush.

  • Yeah, when it's been laquered over etc, ruining the paint underneath too.
they don't lacquer over luglining, hence how it got smudged in the first place.

burtie, think you hipster jeans are a bit tight ;)

  • You folk are so easily wound up that a smudge on a bike(radar) makes one post a long winded story and others cry out in alarm!

I would take pitch forks and burning sticks to Leeds right now, right this second!

  • dale. this isn't australia. you can't say thing like that here.

Don't fucking lump him in with me.. he must've swum from one of the islands.. New Zealand maybe? :)

ONE OF US. ONE OF US. ONE OF US etc

  • Dale is a projection from the Aboriginal dreamtime.

  • Don't fucking lump him in with me.. he must've swum from one of the islands.. New Zealand maybe? :)

i thought you two were related?

  • I don't think so.

  • i thought you two were related?

Cunt. I'd neg rep you for that if I wasn't such a peaceful person.

  • Dale is a projection from the Aboriginal dreamtime.

just wet myself. not allowed to rep for that one

  • Looked like it was under the laquer to me.

I dealt with this bike in person btw...

    Right, that's it.

Doug - let's leave a lewd voicemail on his answering machine describing what you did to his granddaughter.

  • Right, that's it.

Doug - let's leave a lewd voicemail on his answering machine describing what you did to his granddaughter.

He already knows, he was streaming it live from the health centre.

  • On the whole I've had good dealings with Bob Jackson.
They've sprayed 3 frames for me and there is no doubting that they do a fine job.
But the last frame they did was a total fucking nightmare.
When the frame was sent back to me had a dirty big scratch on the top tube.
On finding this I phoned them the next day and told them that they needed to sort it out.
The response I got was not satisfactory to say the least.
They basically said. "Not our problem pal. You must have done it when you unpacked it!"
I explained to them that I couldn't have opened it more carefully. I might as well have been wearing white non static gloves in a vacuum chamber.
Over the course of a week and after numerous emails and heated phone calls I eventually spoke to one of the blokes in the factory who reluctantly agreed to pick it up and get resprayed.
I just wanted this offered to me from the off.
It was only down to my persistence and unwillingness to roll over that it was sorted.
On reflection I can understand that they have to fight their own corner but under the circumstances they should have seen that I was a returning customer and not trying to rip them off.
I'm not on here to slag them off as they eventually put it right but I just thought I would post up after Doug1as relevant post.
