Yeah it was great. It really doesn't deserve to end but we haven't had a good time with our backers.
It's become more about our difficult relationship with them recently.
Tonite was never meant to get into the hands of the wrong people. They were very wrong for us.
You never know, it could resurface one day under a new guise. -

unBright Times Todd - hope something sparkly happens soon

It needs a new support which we can't provide ourselves.

.That's all to common in that game.
Sorry to hear.

That's all to common in that game.
Sure is. Just the wrong relationship. I never did quite understand it.

Todd, let me know where I can get some of the last ever Tonite stuff from (probably a t or two and a cap). I went to Three Threads but they didn't have much.
-
• #13
We'll be looking at any remaining availability from the last couple of seasons and do a crazy goodbye sale I reckon. Be a nice way to end things. Funny...there's been more attention in Tonite over the last season than ever but there's no way we can keep it going. I'm sure something else will be born from it.
Until that day...I need a job. Anyone? Ideas? Market stall?

damn man, thats a shame that its the end, Ill keep my ear to the ground work wise for you,

Go and work for Peaches Geldof's magazine, then kill her. I'm sure that at least 5% of the population will give you a quid, so you could potentially earn £300,000+ in a month. If Bob then died of grief or something, I'm sure that would be worth another few quid each.
Any chance of getting a jump on the queue for this super sale? I'm kinda busy and I'd be gutted if I missed my opportunity.

Todd, that's a bummer but I'm certain you'll be onto something good again soon. Oh yeah, and thanks for showing me round that time and for the shirt. I know a few people in design, I'll ask around. Good luck, and make sure you consider the Peaches Geldof thing.
-
• #17
Cheers for the words guys. I'm sure I'll find somethin'. The Geldof thing sounds tempting and it's something I'll take into consideration. I'll make sure your all informed of any super sale.

I think that as long as you learn a few Barley-isms and throw them out every now and again, you'll be fine.
Seriously, I'm now addicted to Peaches' reality TV show. It's so extreme that I find it hard to believe that it isn't scripted. I just didn't think that stupidity could exist in such concentrated amounts. Perhaps it is a clever rouse by creationists to try and discredit Darwin and the whole "survival of the fittest" thing...

Designing websites is proper design now?!
Nah no good at that. -

Designing websites is proper design now?!
Nah no good at that. No, thats why I asked if you were a proper designer first.
Well I didn't expect to be posting a job request today but we (Tonite) have decided to call it a day! We will end things on a high for sure in true Tonite style whilst remaining in the hearts of our fans for ever more.
I have 1 month to find a job.
Status isn't so important to me as I'm more interested in my well being and working for somebody who appreciates and has respect for others.
Ideally I'd like to work in a creative environment or with creative people.
Small independent companies are good.
I have design/illustation skills. A degree in fashion design + all skills that go with that. Lot's of managerial experience (retail). Computer skillz.
Good communication, marketing, and promotional experiences.
I love making stuff too! And I quite like bikes. ;-)
Don't want to sell myself so much as I'm not expectant on finding my perfect job here, but you never know.
I'd certainly consider anything right now. Anything bike related is good. Anything cosmic.
Thanks
-Todd
