wow, that's more like, likin that a lot, sorry I did you a disservice over the MTB jobbie! Know what you mean about aeros, there is something that is pretty neat and does the job, the famous old Cinelli Spinaci bar extensions, they look like this eBay item no. 160294209528. They're not usually drilled and come in all sorts of colours, I think I have both black and silver somewhere, when the time comes you can borrow a set if you want to try them, they work well, were banned from the pro peleton a good few years back so no longer made but plenty around.
