Since we only have one day, the tourney will be 16 teams, double elimination style. Basically, each team is allowed to lose once. Lose twice and you're out. There's a winners' bracket for teams that have never lost and a losers' bracket for teams that have lost once, and the winner of the winners' bracket ends up playing against the winner of the losers' bracket.
It's somewhat confusing format the first time around, so read about it on wikipedia beforehand if you want, and look at the fancy pictures.
A kid called Barthes will be running the brackets and scheduling, bring him a beer or something.
