3. wheel recommendation: colourful front aerospoke, artistically-laced rear
   
4. make sure there's tons of shit hanging off the saddle
   
5. powdercoat, anodize, polish!
   
6. accessorise liberally with top tube protectors, wacky grips, spoke cards
   
7. don't worry about how it rides... as long as it looks the part
