  • I'd rather see a biologically engineered virus which causes "football apathy" sweep the world, thus ridding the planet of the most pointlessly hyped activity known to human kind.

  • North London Scum - Chelsea FTW!

  • Bugger the poll. The Villa beating Ajax - now that's class.

Pretty hard to see the Toffee's from Paris non?

  • Went to the opening game at GP, been going to GP since 6yrs old unlike most CFC fans that went to their first game in 2003

I have never lived more than 10 mins from Stamford bridge in my 30 years, and actually learnt to drive round the road that used to circle the the old stadium, which you used to be able to drive on to as they never locked the gates - get about 10 games a season as i am a lucky fucker since one of my biggest clients has a box, so i get ot be one of the prawn sandwhich brigade.

  • Arsenal FTW.

Poor old Tottenham, they have more quality than their position suggests - they should come good.

(What's worse your team doing shit, or the platitudes you receive from your closest rivals?) :p

And for me, it's ABC all the way.

    Anyone

    But

    Chelsea

    Shit club, no history.

  • Fair enough, just pulling your plonker anyway - just cracks me up that there seems to be a sudden mass of CFC fans in London now 'that have supported them all their lives'.
My old local, The Prince Regent in Brixton/Herne Hill suddenly got a load of fellas wearing CFC shirts about 7/8yrs ago, on a Sunday afternoon, watching CFC at home on Sky. The grounds 4 fucking miles away, why aren't you there!?
As the chant by away fans goes at Stamford Bridge: 'Where were you when you were shit??!' ;-)

  • why isn't this on some football forum. I care more about sarah palin than football.

Me too, but then again, I am at a dangerous age...

  • Following on....
When I moved down to this poxy little village in Oxford from up North in '87(the yr we won the league) all the kids were running around in Everton shirts! WTF!?

  • Yeah i know you where, but you got a point - The one thing i have seen an increase in at The Bridge is the number of tourists who come to see a match, especially from the Japan/China, and the Boxes now seemed to be filled with Ruskis and their kids from Belgravia. My client is Irish, and got the Box when Duff joined, and kept it on when he left.

My aunt used to be a director at Fulham before Al Fyed bought them, and i used to be allowed to help work the lights when i was younger - sometimes go to watch them with a mate who has kids as it is one of the best atmospheres for a family that i have seen and you are always close to the action. Also Fulham do way more for the Local community that chelsea including free tickets as compensation for the disruption, which i get since i live right by the stadium, but i fell in Love with chels when i went to a soccer skills week there as a young un.

  • tottenham can't get relegated!

Same for all top 4 clubs from what I've seen. Don't think you can single one out.

Fairly or unfairly I just think a lot of the English Chelsea players represent all that is bad with the modern game and the Premiership. I'd take Joe Cole but none of the rest.

The rest is just good natured banter ;)

  • im guessing this poll was set up by a gooner

  • arsenal to win. but wouldnt mind it if chelsea wins again, actually, anyone BUT man u. hope everton beats them this weekend. and rooney to not get a touch.

wouldnt want to see spurs go down, cos of they have some quality players there (come to think of it, bit like leeds from few years back...woodgate again!?!?)

Teams are referred to in the plural. Hence, 'if Chelsea win again', 'hope Everton beat them'.
    I'll ignore the others.
I'm too busy thinking up anal-related puns...
