Marvellous, thanks chaps, I've booked my tubing consultation and apparently, I'll be able to ride a stiffer gear ratio much easier at higher cadences for longer once my tubes have been properly cleared....wow it's amazing what you can achieve with an old frame...although I'm not looking forward to the sand-blasting much (ouch)
