Do you give way to pedestrians crossing the road that you're turning into?

I can't rep you (so perhaps someone else has) for this! Its funny that I haven't actually realised 'til now but I do actually do this bit too, a knee-jerk really.

I really want this to spread and become normal. Like cold sores.
