Should i convert

hi, i have an old 80's Peugeot. was thinking of converting it to fixed gear. lower maintainence sounds good for a novice like myself and i hear it's better for winter/bad weather riding. should i convert to fixed? i'm open to anyones opinions/advice.

Yeah do it. I started riding fixed by accident, the best accident I ever hard. Any bike is broken until it's fixed.
