The first half is lovely. I've driven that way a few times (and the other way many times). 1st half = awesome, 2nd half = mostly pretty industrial and dull (Geelong isn't known for its beauty). Of course I only drove it so what do I know.
Parts of the 2nd half are nice btw.

I can only imagine what Australian drivers would do to English pedestrians. You would need to be an ambulance parked on every corner to clean up squashed peds by bogans in Commos
I was almost hit by an Ambo on Chapel Street in Prahran. It didn't have its lights or sirens on (so wasn't attending to an emergency afaik) but it still turned a corner across a cycle lane without indicating or using its mirrors (otherwise it'd have seen me). Probably the closest I came to a serious crash there.
