I don't suppose I'd be fortunate enought that platini is an extremely well endowed, attractive and loose moraled female with a cute friend and a penchant for 3somes??
Thought not :( eekShe's not?!
Then who were those photos of?

here's my bike built so that there's not much i'd change. i got the frame, forks and bottom bracket from El Diablo for £45 which i was happy about. It's a nice sparkly black colour and rides really nice. I'm pretty sure it's a faux pas to run a 700 on the front but i havent got around to changing it over yet, and am not sure if i want to. Also i'm sure everyone has comments on the flat bar on a lo-pro but it feels good to ride at the moment. Everything is just taken off my old bike so it's not planned but i like it.
face is the same
Would love to see that in the flesh, as my Aende is the only one i have ever seen, and they are bastard twins, same father in Pongo Braithwaite, but mine is Columbus and yours is Reynolds . . .

For a guy who made more kids than he made bikes, I have seen a fucking shitload of Aendes in the past few months.
There's one in my house for a start (not mine).

Are you referring to the kids?

thought as much, saw a handful of them in Cavendish, sadly didn't quite like the colour/pattern thought.

They are single dip, un polished chrome to protect the frame. 'Chrome' frames are polished and dipped multiple times to get a good finish. If you strip one of the chrome underneath frames (I have) you will find that the chrome finish is nowhere near that of a bike designed not to be painted.
The best thing about the Bianchi pista is the super indestructible chrome finish.
Revised:
Anyone who sprays over chromed bianchi pista is a complete moron!!actually I wonder if it is possible to get the Bianchi Pista rusty and then clearcoat it?

nice and clean lines, not a bad effort for a ginger :p

I'd get rid of that tiny vans sticker though. Keep it pure.
Nice bike nonetheless.

Smart move getting those hubs.
Chain half-links, or even a half-link chain (hubjub.com sell both, as should your local bike shop) will help.
If your going for 'real' pedals (rather than SPDs etc) and worried about pedal strike then MKS GR9s are really narrow. I run them in a fixed conversion for this reason and I really like 'em.
Thanks.
It would be even smarter if the bloody hub (plus cranks/cog/lockring) would turn up grrrrr. It's 2 weeks since I ordered them. The delay wasn't a problem but I've since finished the bike apart from building the back wheel/drivetrain so this is holding me up now. :(
I got a KMC chain and half-link from here
Pedals are Shimano M324 SPD/cage combo types. Not sure if they're ideal (?) but even if not they'll do until I get going. I've got SPD-SLs on my roadbike but they're more of a cnut to clip into so might not be the best for a first foray into fixed.

Snap on the twisty spokes, they're lovely. Have they given you much trouble, ie have you needed to true them yet?

Anyone had a bike nicked yesterday?! I was peddalin down the Wandsworth Rd Last about 5:45 last night, and came across 3 unsavory looking kids. One of em was ridding a Charge Plug Freestyler, pretty much of the rack spec. I'm sorry to stereotype, but no way was that bike belongin to that boy! I eyeballed em coming up the queens rd and got a good look, they shot off up a side road soon after.

I don't think they got it. Probably just as well.

Do they ever?
Pesky kids... -

to squag:
nah they've been fine so far, they make a small creak occasionally peadaling hard uphill but it might be the hubs or cranks rather than the spokes rubbing on each other. I haven't trued them yet but i can imagine when i have to it will be a fucking pain. I wouldn't choose them myself (at least not on both wheels) but they came on a bike i got off ebay so they're on my new frame -

All sorts really :) This was my pride and joy for years but I've recently sold it to my cousin.
I ride alot of flatland bmx in hulme park on this:
I use to be a triathlete (I'll get some shit for this! ha) and ride this:
I'm in the process of building up a decent track bike at the moment, so I'm just riding this Carlton conversion as a daily commute/beater
I'm not a messenger or anything, I just love cycling. You going to critical mass mate?

You want to be careful with that peadaling.
Especially the uphill type...
Because most people are cocks.
