SA isn't in Australia mate. It exists in a magical mystery land all of it's own. Nice place to be if you can afford the drugs to get there..........

Ipswich has a pretty nice BMX track too. I've got family there. Its not a bad place despite what ppl in Brisneyland may say.
Ipswich was always the poor cousin. Then the 90's property boom happened and people had a fresh look at the place. It's a little Toowoombaish. Nice.

that's the one...
i absolutely love that frame but somehow i'd feel like an idiot riding it with a drilled fork and brake ;) (i don't do NoBrakes)
contrary to what someone else said earlier, I love the track ends on this thing...
this bike would look great in matte black with all black components too... -

that should never be ridden on the road... truly is a thing of beauty though!

No sweat- we can all co-exist with our views...just as long as you know you are wrong tho ;D
Independent Fabrication, Moots or possibly Passoni for me on the Ti front.
Apologies Multi Grooves, guess I could have stated my view a little more eloquently!...
Seven frames... true titanium porn.

Multi G... no harm mant with my earlier comment (and yes, it really was bad kit on that morati)... i totally agree with your Passoni comment. Passoni = true beauty. Seven, IF, and Lynskey (don't even mention current Litespeed).
New question: What is the best track Ti bike/frame (and please post a pic with your answer!) anyone around here has seen?

I much prefer that scheme to the other one. I'm still not fast enough and would get chuckled at a lot for trying to race on that.

They are only a grand through the UK Importer - he was flamed when he tried to sell them on here
that was the PHM7 (last years model) not the PHM9.
I think the PHM9 has more mono-cockiness going on..

The best is this Merlin:
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_VY9lef3Ripw/RjG3_4yJBnI/AAAAAAAAA8Y/GHA8107C8Nc/s1600/MerlinBlackbird00.jpgbut it is rare as fuck with a price to match (approx $3K)
The cheapest option would be Gene Spicer.
http://www.spicercycles.com/images/499-large.jpgThere was a truly amazing one off litespeed track frame on ebay recently- the pictures are gone.
Another name would be Moots founder Kent Eriksen.
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm158/multigrooves/Picture4-4.pngAtum22 might do it. If they can weld as intricately as this then track ends shouldn't be an issue:

Pah 1000 of your English pounds for an out of date old version.
When I can spend $4000 on a new improved and "In your face PHM7" version (by the way, what happened to PHM8 ?? We need to know!). I would never be able to hold my head up, whilst failing at trackstanding, at the lights if I was on a 7 and then so hip young NoBrakeTM dude on a 9 came up next to me.
PHM7. I should cocoa.

The difference between the PHM7 and PHM9 isn't what year they're from but the type of Carbon used. The PHM7 uses a cheaper carbon construction.

Looks a bit like the Planet X Pro Carbon Track. Or maybe not when I take a closer look at the dropouts and a few more things. Nice ride!

Better, lots of colour choices
Can't go wrong with black though.

that's AdamM wearing the pink t-shirt in the team singular photo. i see him on the train to dorking a fair bit when going MTB'ing (along with the 'the ride' magazine diprose twins)

Ok so they are the only UK stockists for the rims and the frame... but you'd never have guessed this was a BLB build?
I think they got a very discerning customer with this one.
Matey, you want to have the full brissy experience and do the Zupps ride then. Takes in the north of Bris and big loop around the bay then back through redcliffe. Big bunch. Mostly wombles who can't ride a bike. All going flat out as if they were racing for a Tour stage win. It's an experience.........
Tracks: You'll be fine on a track bike. They are just a bit rough these days. Definitely check out Toowoomba.
How long since you been in Bris? Just beware of the traffic, mate. I know that sounds silly given where you are now, but it's carnage here. A lot has changed here in 10 years. People are pretty aggressive.
