You say 700c wanted, but according to the flickr thread originals were 27's - if it's any help I've got a nearly new pair of 27" wheels, bit of a mix of hubs and rims (from memory ones Weineman the other Rigida) but they're both alloy. Takes a screw on block, should be easy to source a 5spd, or dare I say stick a single on and you won't need the rear mech :) £20 including a pair of half decent Michelin World Tour tyres (+tubes etc) with brown (dirty) sidewalls.
