Having completed my Surly build I was looking for a new project and a colleague at work showed up this week on a rather beautiful Raleigh 'Misty' or 'Mixte' bike. She told me she was going to get rid of it because of its clanking rear mech and its weight, which is largely down to the fact it is running its original steel rim wheels.
I can't bear the thought of such a gorgeous ladies' frame going to the skip, so I offered to do the necessary, and thought that the lovely people of this forum, with their unwanted derailleurs and taste for track wheels, might be able to help.
I need a 5-speed mech, and a pair of alloy 700c wheels, with or without a 5-speed casette on the rear. Can anyone help?
