Thanks, furious. Genesis said I can swap the whole seatpost under warranty at one of their stockists. But that seems a waste of the earth's resources when all I want is a screw. So I'll mosey down there tomorrow :0)

Client meeting, followed by a very important site visit.
(Read: 15 mins on site at 11 and the rest down the pub drinking)
Then back to an empty office to polish off the Christmas party wine. -

Good on you. Rare is the person these days who doesn't grab all they can and then ebay it.

haha, When I was at UCL I was in charge of the key to the cupboard. Stupid stupid people.
Anyone have a telephone number for Genesis Bikes head office? Their new website has no contact details for the company, only stockists. I have one of their bikes and the bolt holding the saddle to seatpost snapped yesterday (cycled home 9 miles standing up!). The bolt/screw in question is not a standard size and I think they should replace it on a 2007 bike. My LBS and the Genesis stockist I spoke to both do not carry a suitable part. Otherwise I need a whole seatpost or hunt down a screw at a screw shop (fnar)...
Thanks!
