Last one, nowhere near as good as the stuff on the first two Chrome albums, but great anyway... Love the way he sounds like the Egyptian Lover... Truly awesome!

Requiem for a dream = the new Alex D-Clubbed to death?
You make a good point. 28 days later were the first I think, and they rocked it up a bit and used it quite well (very sparingly), by the time the dvd had come out it had already been used in a car advert :-(

You should hear the original UK mix (first UK press only) of that Nicholas, TO-TA-LLY different with massive drum overdubs... A-ma-zing! Bowie fucked that record then Iggy went and fucked it up some more... Grrr...
If you like that, try this... Most brutal song in the world, ever... Fred 'Sonic' Smith RIP... SRB FTW! -

Think I was talking to someone at souths about the genius of Hank Marvin, here's some proof... Only an extract I'm afraid, but he shreds it (in a very nice English, backed by session boys way)... It's called Sunday for Seven Days, I think it eventually came out on a Scorched Earth comp too...

Shame they didn't bring Irma Thomas with them, I loves that woman's voice... Wouldn't mind seeing Toussaint, heard he was pretty good at the Jazz Café (even tho' Elvis Costello spit got up onstage with him)...

The live Yeasayer videos on pitchfork are superb, a tremendous live band.. they seem to inject a freshness into every live rendition I hear of their songs.. and live in the flesh their even better.
