I'm going to have my new frame powdercoated, then hand pinstripe the lugwork in orange. What color should I go with? I was thinking a dark gray. Opinions?

If you're determined on the orange lining, then clearly the main colour has to be chocolate...

Why the hell would you want to spray carbon forks?
That's like painting an oak table... -

Now we know what to expect in the Spring catalogues Ru.
More Autumn / Winter '09 really. Bigbris is spot on through, orange is a really strong trend coming through!

That's like painting an oak table...cos i bought the 2008 track pro, purely cos i really liked the shape of the frame, with a view to blackin it out - im not keen on the paint job. if i left the current forks as they are, they'd look a bit out of sorts to say the least.
i was thinkin of ordering a pair of the wing TT forks from dolan, as you can have them finished in matt black, but they are nearly £200 posted. if i could get away with spraying the forks this time round, then cool.

You could always offer to fight Terry for them; he'd like that...

then buy some alloy second hand ones and get them painted with the frame.

Thanks to all. I think I'm going with a burnt orange color, like a copper/bronze & line that with a dark metallic gray.

fuck, tynan, that's brilliant; a bike that constantly changes colour. that'll save me going to armortex every six months to keep my bike fashionable. where do i get one?
