£159 each
-

Cheers Le Car. I wasn't worried as I've seen Marc and co do it.
Just need to grab a big enough bag now. -

Nope, we're still working on it being the first as this is what Marc said when they were over here.
If you're travelling on 31st, Gabes, Ray and I are on the 13:15 train out. Coming back (I think) on 14:15 02/11/08
otters and dt- those tickets were super-duper expensive when i booked mine (last night they were £300-ish), but mark and i are going to be on the 3 oclock one which was cheaper (£160) and still leaving on friday.

Close enough.

5 mins could be enough to fail.
-
• #135
I'm leaving work at 11am so 5 minutes is the difference between 5 or 6 cups of coffee from the overpriced station vendors

yeah. Agile little (big) bikes. I'm thinking of not even bringing my polo bike.
-
• #139
why bother, they're free right?
-
• #140
shrug Donno if they're free, but it looks like it's not too hard to find one lying around.

i want to go, but if i do, i will probably do the coach to paris, and back, i think it could be as low as 9 quid, so if any one needs more players and if there is an extra floor to sleep on let me know.
-
• #143
9 quid???! What about your bike?
-
• #144
ok, Myself, Skoota, ad Hops are all booked up. Going to be a good weekend!
ps. still looking for a third player (if Hops doesn't want to play with us)
-
• #145
I still think we should try and get Aido to go...

hey londoners, you've already hosted the paris crew twice in the last two months, and i'm worried that we're not going to be capable of reciprocating... a lot of people live in tiny flats and sleep on their own couch. we'll do our best to drum up floor space, but i guess i'm saying that if you have somewhere to crash already then that's great.
i'll be offline a bunch in the next week cause i'm on the road, so Hugo is the one trying to round up some places for people to crash, you can contact him here: http://bikepolo.ca/user/203/contact (tho you need to be logged in on bikepolo.ca to see that form)
You can reach me at bikepolo.ca/contact (no login necessary).

I’m booked:
Friday, depart London 10.08, arrive Paris 13.47 (carriage 5, seat 18)
Sunday, depart Paris 17.43, arrive London 19.15 (carriage 14, seat 81)I took the earlier train in the hope of getting some games in on Friday afternoon while there’s still light, and the later train back on Sunday so I have time for extra croissants and Chartreuse.

any bike in a bag or a box is included in the price if there is space in the cargo hold.

Don't worry kev, just do what you can. Anyone that can't get a place to sleep can just hostel / hotel it (myself and hops are going for a hotel anyway)

bonus! (to crishcrash)
We're booked on the Eurostar 15.00 Friday depart and come back 13.01 on Sunday.
Now... hotels. Can anyone recommend one that has secure bike parking?
bullshit
just take both wheels off, but the frame and the wheels in a bag, and there you go. I do it every month, never had a problem
