I thought it was a bit of a puppy killing, even thought it's just a Sears, the original one look really nice and it's in really excellent condition, all it would take is to change some bits and polish some stuff to make it even nicer (wooden fender, brooks B-17, front rack with wooden box, cork grip, a la fast boy bike;
he would've save a lots of effort and money transforming it into a bike like the one above!
