Very informative JackT. Thank you. Where does one find the law on entering the ASL? I have never heard of having to enter the ASL via the feeder lane. Very often I overtake on the right and go into the ASL (if motorbikes and mopeds permit...).

If the ASL isn't full of motorbikes and/or the feeder lane full of numpty cyclists unwilling/unable to move into the rest of the ASL.
