  • I've been happy with mine, but then again I'm more into mountain bikes so my opinion is that of a noob, fixed-wise. The £800 original price seemed like a rip-off but at £500-odd in the sale I thought it was worth a punt -- stripped off all the original parts for starters. I rode it for a couple of weeks with the stock components and it felt pretty dead considering it's meant to be a decent track frame with a carbon fork to boot. Anyway got about £100 for the parts on ebay and made the following upgrades: converted to a fixed. wheels = openpro's with condor uno hubs. quite reasonable at £170 from condor; andel unbranded cranks from BLB for 60 quid + bb; nitto bullhorns and ui-5gx stem; ultegra front-caliper and paul e-lever; nice ritchey carbon post off ebay. Ran out of cash on the tyres so i'm gonna have to grind the stock maxxis into the ground before upgrading there lol! With these upgrades the frame opened right up and it feels like a nimble and seriously quick little commuter bike. Whether it was worth the £900 total I've sunk into it i'm not sure. you guys are the experts.....
