don't get too carried away with the electric lights and all that, technology can't hurt you.
don't stare at the shining lights or the talking box in the corner of the room, if the locals see you are an outsider you will be robbed at gunpoint.
if i see a couple dressed in 80's style clothing i'll say hello.
