No way you'll shoe horn one in that shell.

Those dropouts are semi-vert so if you're careful about how many links you take out of the chain, you might be ok.
Else get the hub mentioned above.
P.S. Get that rear wheel tight to the seat tube. Your frame is sex.

Lovely frameset Dr Crippen. Fillet brazing looks great.
If it were mine I would like to see gears on that bike.

I considered that pal, but not anymore.
I'm adamant to make this fixed, getting the parts I want is a bitch, so I'm seeking out good fortune on here.
So far so good folks

Gonna try pal!
I'm lucky enough that the front wheel was custom built for the bike already.

I got a magic ratio of 48/18 on my Lo-Pro which has similar drop outs, would try and do the same if i were you - 48/17/18 or 19 should work with a half link chain:

what vv said +1
on my funny bike ran the same gear- it has now gone back to geared mode though:
in the pic it is running 48:17 so 18 fitted a beauty -

Cheers VV, sounds sweet!
Similar hub as well?

It has the standard HED hub, nothing fancy going on there

Nice.
I'm going to have to weigh it down a notch methinks, it's lighter than a feather.

Defo try to magic gear it, pos with aid of half link. Cheap, clean looking, and relible fix.

(PS remember to try and set the wheel up as close to the seatpost as possible. To give allowance for chain stretch and to look cool)

I like that, cheers.

What a FUGLY bike.
Welcome to Lo-pro amateur hour
This got lost a bit amongst the old 'Current projects' so I'm starting this to ask you folk for some advice.
I'm not going geared with this and I have unlaced the old radial action from the wheel.
Next steps are somewhat baffling at the minute so next step advice would be most welcome.
Are the dropouts too short for any sort of tension? Maybe?
Cheers folks.
