Hate to be the voice of reason but I worked with him on something a while ago and I think he's alright you know... I know he gets a ton of grief but is actually a pretty genuine nice chap.

i quite like his 6 music show...don't listen to it that much anymore but it did make me giggle.

sorry paul74 but i can't stand him. he may be alright in real life but on air he's he's ignornat, arrogant and hugely irritating. some people find him funny but not this punter. he's the polar opposite of knowlegdable, humble and entirely charming mark riley and gideon coe. he appears to know or care very little about music and has the wit and sophistication of a six year old making fart noises.

Crispin - I only have just started listening to 6Music over the past few months and really enjoy it. Why are (and this is not a pisstake question) the listeners seen as so hardcore? It is just people that know their stuff? Was great after MBV played that you got them all going on about it for ages as you know they appreciate the same things as you do. Think I just answered my own question.

i dont really hate him, hes just really boring. hes not particually charming, his wit is really unsophisticated, and the music he plays is dull. a radio presenter should have some kind of hook.

with that said, i have a dislike of russell brand but really enjoy his radio show, its an anarchic mess and is gueninly funny.
