Back in July I tried to nominate this site for an LCC Best Cycling Facility
Award. Why not, eh?
Three months later I get an email (see below) asking for a more detailed nomination. I replied saying I was too busy and she should HTFU and and have a look at the site herself.
However, if anyone is inclined to do the work for them, please feel free to jump in. Here is the email:

Dear Dave
Thanks for your message, sorry for the delay in replying. If you want
the judges to consider your nomination for the London Cycling Awards,
you will need to provide them with more information. The judges will be
making their decision based on how well the nominated schemes or
initiatives meet the specific criteria for each category. The criteria
they will be using are available on our web site here http://www.lcc.org.uk/index.asp?PageID=1164.
You would need to provide the judges with a description of how the web
site meets the criteria and the name and address of the organisation or
individual to be credited for the award. You are also invited to submit
accompanying material with the nomination, such as photographs or
testimonials. You might want to include screen shots of the web site,
rather than 'photographs' as such.
Best wishes,
Liz Reiner

My nomination for Best Cycle Facility is:
The London Fixed-Gear and Single-Speed web site:
www.londonfgss.com
3,097 members and counting
It is informative, entertaining, useful and anything else you want it to
be!
