Who would one contact for road issues?

  • which council department would one call to report a badly (dangerously) marked out intersection?

I got hit (grazed) the other day by a truck making a sharp right onto the road, and it only happened because i had no room to maneuver, the car parking runs way too close to the corner. i've seen others in the same situation, and the problem would be eased (maybe?) if the council removed one or two parking spots just to clear up the corner for traffic.

who would you try to contact? any help would be greatly appreciated. oh, and the corner is in N7. thank you!

highways dept at the relevant local authority.

but dont hold your breath ......

  • If it is in Islighton, try the council website. I think there is a report page on it. If not there is certainly an a-z of council services which will identify the highways bit of the council. Mind you, as somebody says, don't hold your breath.

  • wheres the link to the page where you report potholes?

    something like www.reportapotholeintheroad.com
