There was a mention as well in the ES this week and the other free papers.

Also on the beeb's 10 o'clock news on tue/weds

Quite a good/positive article I thought. Looks like the bikes are getting attention - props to Matt (SBB) et al.

Are there any locations known for ghost bikes in the north? For those that want to pay there respects and help maintain them.

I wrote a piece on Ghost Bikes for G2 recently, but it was never run in the end. This is a nice piece, though.

damn, i'd been wondering about that bike on kingsland rd... good idea... hopefully make people more aware, if not driver of cyclists at least cyclists to be more aware...

there's a new ghost bike on Morning Lane, just noticed it this morning

i saw that ghost bike on kingsland road. and read the funeral service info attached to the bike.

it was very sad and very relevant for me.

particularly because the lad that was killed, smudge, was from clitheroe, lancs. just up the valley from where i am from. it just really made me think.

and i think our politicians / leaders are letting us down by allowing the killings by motor powered vehicle users to continue. and / or go unpublicised.

and if these ghost bikes raise awareness then that is good. in my opinion.

is bringing up the fact and reminding us that we need to be careful 'dragging it up'.....i dont think so!!!
