Anyone used R.E.Load Bags before?

  • Anyone got any experiance of the R.E.Load bags?

I'm looking to get a new bag, and before you all shout 'GroBags' at me, I love Scotts bags, just not sure if I can wait that long.

And YES people I have used the search, and read all the previous posts on Messenger Bags.

    D.

  • Rapsac has got some pacbags for sale as well donut, they always get really well rated

  • They do look nice - but are water resistant not waterproof. Mmmm. The weight saving is good but means nothing is your stuff gets a soaking

  • also try these guys out

My stuff has remained dry in mine.

  • Ant where did you get your's?
    Was it a custom order?

The Delux Courier is made from Cordura which should be waterproof!

  • Been looking at the PAC's too. Rollapolusa have them for £160.

    Any thoughts?

  • reload make great bags! i have one of their midpacks, it's super comfy holds loads of stuff, and is really well waterproofed. and their custom stitching is fantastic.

  • I got a bailey works from Cavendish...70 notes. fucking sweet.
i look like a courier and everything.

  • pac bags are good - i have one

grobags are excellent, plus if there is anything you would like added to the bag Scott will more than likely oblige

I thought my pac bag was excellent until i tried murtles grobag (i frequently carry over 10kg of stuff in my bag) at which point i added myself to Scott's waiting list.

i'd suggest you either get the pac bag (from rollapoluza) or just use a cheap backpack whilst waiting on the grobag, for a brief while you will look like a dayglo cyclist but once your custom grobag arrives you will be the true fakenger

    another brucy for scott.

Technically it should...but it's only a thin coating on the back...this coating wears out, which is why the best bags have floating liners...that way even if the corduras coating gets worn you still have another layer of protection.

I'd recommend Yasu at project tortoise...if he's still making bags?...i keep hearing conflicting stories.

  • Scott

Are you now making the murtle/mumble phone bag?

Can I add one to my order?

  • Only if you either change your name to murtle...or marry him!

  • hahaha

  • marriage it is then

  • fuckoff!!

  • I'm pretty sure Reloads have floating liners - mine has been tough as fuck and carried absolutely loads in relative comfort. There's not many pockets or padding as standard, but if you go custom you could add stuff. My project tortoise is nicer, but I'm not sure that Yasu is making them any more.

  • I got mine from rapsaC/rollapaluza

It's the only messenger style bag I've tried but I carry all sorts of shit and wear it for about 2 hours a day on the bike. I got it because there was no waiting list and I could pick it up in a pub.

  • I have got four bags left. All left swing for right handed people.

All come with lifetime guarantee, the most waterproof bag & most comfotable bags I've ever used (I've used a number of different bags in my time as a curryer).

    Black as your hat only.

£160 each, for a bag that is at least £200 in the shops over here. I'm in E1 and willing to meet locally if you want.

  • I am a big fan of my bailey works bag. I've just noticed that you can buy them at Cavendish cycles. Which I wish I had known before I got mine from America.

Which ones do you have? Is the full delux bad boy with back padding and the X straps?

  • @Scott I know your bags are the shizzle coz I've seen Murtle & Objects. :)

The ultimates are what I have. Tool rolls, X & exteneder straps.
