So you have a part 1 and part 2 that need fusing into one clip?
With little effort you can join two video files just using Quicktime Player. It may need to be the pro version for this to work.
Do it like this:
1 Press on your '2nd part' clip to activate the window.
2 Edit>Select all
3 Edit>Copy
4 Press on your '1st part' clip to activate the window.
5 Move the play back head of the '1st part' clip to the very end.
6 Edit>Paste
7 The '2nd part' clip should be placed into the '1st part' movie.
8 File>Save as… self contained movie.
If it does not play through the edit smoothly due to the content of the clips you may need to find Final Cut instead to edit and smooth it out the join.
