  • it's "you're"

    Learn that in school today?
I'm dyslexic and have problems with spelling and grammer obviously you have found one thing you are good at in life though.

  • would he be able to help out with a design?

  • I'll tattoo ya for free.. provided you bring the ink and something to clean the nail with..

    Cheap prick.

  • Ok maybe i should have worded the whole thing better or have gotten him to write it.
He is not in the situation of begging on the streets for money and already has alot of work lined up i was just trying to help him out and get extra work.
We all know artists are temperamental people maybe as much as some people on this forum.

If someone was marking me for life and didn't think they would do the best job because they are not as skilled as someone else in that style I'd be pleased if they said no or passed me on.

as he tried to compare it to fixing track bikes and motorbikes sure they are both bikes but would you want a push bike mechanic repairing your motorbike?
(unless of it was paul from kiwi cycles)

    Shit excuse

  • Brilliant!!!!!

  • Just because I prefer not to have a full colour Navaho Chieftain over my shoulder blade or various Rockabilly iconography down both arms doesn't mean I can't appreciate the skill and artistry of a good tattooist.

There is no "artistry" involved in printing a few block characters out on a PC, stenciling them and keeping within the lines. I really wasn't dissing you when I said any street shop (walk-in shops in other words) will be able to do an awesome job on it, that's what they do day in day out. Obviously check out the portfolios first and see the quality of the work.

Hars, you and your girlfriend need to get off your high-fucking-horse.
I feel as though I have walked into Condor and asked for a single tracknut or something.

Calm down, all I'm saying is that it's frustrating for artists to not actually use their ability to draw and do something custom which may have influenced his decision to turn it down. Luckily the GF is in a position to turn work like that down as she prefers to specialise in big custom pieces, no high horse at all. She has worked fucking hard to get where she is by drawing for hours and hours every day. You'll find a lot of tattooists do exactly the same and sometimes it can be frustrating to have this big nice portfolio that has taken YEARS to amass and then have someone flip through it and then ask for a Kanji.

Oh and one piece of advice, don't ever EVER get tattooed on the ribs. It fucking kills. :)

  • Brilliant!!!!!

That is AWESOME!!!! I gotta buy that print for the GF, do you know who did it?

  • Hars, what's your GF's name and where has she worked?

  • the guy mentioned at the top,
this was a t-shirt desgin for a band from new zealand.

She owns/runs this shop in copenhagen:

    This is her work:

I spend most of my time in CPH and I'm moving over perm early next year, I fucking love this city.

EDIT: I have seen a few fixies on the road here. Can't wait to bring mine over. The bike paths are sooooo smooth and so quick. A dude rode one to the shop the other day for a consultation. He wanted to get a tattoo of a kryptonite D-lock with "good lock" written underneath instead of the horseshoe good luck tat. Such a sweet idea, why didn't I think of that!? :)

Ah, I didn't go through his paintings. It's awesome. Can you ask him if the original is for sale for me please?

  • Yeah, Copenhagen's an ace city, well chilled and the fittest birds I have ever seen!

Lucky c*nt, you've got a Danish Mrs into tatts, and I'd say to some extent probably into bikes too? My dream Doris! :-)

  • If you're into clobber/fashion - check out a wicked shop called 'Paris Texas'

Tell me about it. Rubber neck central.

Ya, she's cool man, so chilled out. She rides one of those long john bikes with the huge tray behind the front wheel, it's so rad seeing this tiny chick riding a huge bike. hehe.

  • Bump- he has some time on his hands again this week.

Please have a look at the kinda of work he does, before asking for work.
because he will mostly likely say no to tribal, names, kanji or things that
are just not his style as this may offend some people.
There are a couple of people on here who now have their bodies and hands
marked for life and im sure can testify that its good work.

  • does he do genitalia?

i want "may contain nuts" on my scrotum!

  • @dale your only end up with "may" on there :p

  • yes he does,
I know about 4 people with them now

  • Rofl!!

  • That's gotta fuckin hurt!

  • It brought tears to my eyes just looking at it.

  • How about "beware, small children may choke" on your sacks?

  • it's not actually supposed to hurt much at all,
the real problem is tryin to maintain an erection while getting it done.
