There is a thread somewhere on JIS and ISO. ISO cranks sit a couple of mill further out on JIS spindle, or the other way round. But I can't remember which way round it is, so you will have to look for the thread.
Miche BBs are hit and miss, I have had 6, 4 have been great, as smooth and free as my campy record, 2 feel like they are running in gravel filled treacle.
