When I was fresh meat (and even greeted as such by Cornelius Crashfoot) I turned up with a puncture. Was feeling pretty stupid as I did not even have tools or a spare inner tube.
Two people (Sano and Hillbilly) helped me out and donated inner tubes - I even managed to destroy a presta valve on the first tube!
Despite my complete maintenance incompetence I felt quickly welcomed and have been a regular ever since.
