    But I thought it might be useful to share bad experiences of bicycle products to help guide choices especially in ordinary day-to day bits.

    Ill start with standard Vittoria rubino's

    Bought from Wiggle, only ridden lightly for a few days and I can safely say they are totally awful.

    They are stiff rigid tyres with no 'suppleness' to them. They feel very 'dry' to ride, skidding is like nails on a blackboard and juddery at that.

    In the wet there is scarily little grip!

    I was planning not to skid these tyres and leave maximum tread on for winter grip, but after a few days of light riding I noticed the tyre already suffering from cuts & cracking.

    So I think Ill just buy a gatorskin for the front a shred through these.
