I really cant see the problem with allowing fixed gears in triathlons. Its not like we have an unfair advantage or anything. Maybe its because too many muppets don't know how to ride them in a group -

another thing to note about hillingdon is that it has one particularly long sharp turn that you may get pedal strike ;)

Great that there's some interest for this event and, as I posted earlier, they are totally happy for fixed gear bikes to participate, which is a welcome bloomin change.
